About Me
I have been professionally involved in IT projects and products for 15 years. The first half of them I grew up from software engineer to CTO. The second half I spent on entrepreneurship and participation in several products. These were the local and international products. Also I made few own products. My experience allows me to combine a business vision and goals with technical approaches and knowledge for success executing them. As a team leader of product I try to transparency with my teammates. I like planing and data-driven decisions. Besides I appreciate an integrity and punctuality in my work.
I am especially proud of my work at the international startup Appscotch and my experience of building a million-dollar VKontakte product.
- With a strong small team we made Appscotch product that was used by such giants as Google, Activision, Uber, etc. Later the company was acquired by Appannie / Data.ai.
- Into vk.com a small team and me jointly build a product with an MAU of 14 million users, tens of thousands of sellers and year revenue of 12 million dollars.
Professional Experience
I’ve created a new e-commerce analytics service for sellers working on marketplaces wb.ru and ozon.ru It was SaaS with a telegram chatbot. Any seller could send to the chatbot links on their competitors. Then the service everyday collect data from this cites and sent reports about competitors once a week. The reports included an information about what new products are showed up, warehouse stock and revenue. Service worked over the modern web and mobile browsers. In this SaaS, I created the service idea, did market research, custdev, managed the servers and wrote the code, developed the business model, and worked on acquiring new users and retaining them.
Accomplishments:
- Released SaaS less then 3 month
- 900 sellers were registered within a few months
- WAU Retention: 80-90%
- Made a few sales
- Failed attempt to attract investment
I joined at the declined stage the product and return it to a growth stage. I have discovered sustainable competitive advantages, formed a mission and consistently through series of experiments found a product market fit. Also I was engaged in ideology and planning. Everyday I worked with different functional teams: a research team, design team, software engineers, QA, analysts, lawyers, translation team, support team, marketing and PR team.
Accomplishments:
- Released 2 successful new products: VK Shop 2.0 and VK Marketplace
- Growth in the number of orders by 30 times
- Growth in the number of sellers by few tens thousands
- Gained MAU of the main product: 14 mln
- Gained $15 mln per year
It was 3 years of intense entrepreneurial experience. I has gone through all stages of Product Life Cycle. I registered ltd company, then managed it. Beside I rent servers, wrote code of the SaaS, deployed the code and bugfixes, made UI. Also I sometimes involved freelancers: designer, lawyer, system administrator, programmer.

We spent 1.5 years to make an analytical product for the mobile application market. Then it was bought by Appannie / Data.ai Because we were a startup our team was cross-functional. I was responsible for the UI, part of the data mining subsystem, the billing subsystem, and I was also involved in building the project’s distributed infrastructure and data storage.
Accomplishments:
- Made a UI of the product
- Made an invoicing and billing system myself
- Participated in product feature development
- Made a landing page for demonstration abilities of the product
- Participated in the transfer of the product to Appannie after the sell
During this period I grew up from an intern to CTO and I got strong technical knowledges about how to make web services.

- At UMI I was a tech lead. I built a strong technical team, then we joint did more then fifty custom projects.
- I was also involved in a startup from seed to exit. My role was CTO and my responsibilities included driving a product and a team. We improved the product for 3 years, and then the product was bought for $5 million.
